June 21st, 2008 we had a pretty good turn out at the Bass Pro Shop car show. We had some rain at the start and at the end of the event too. FOAC members attending were Jerry Sellers and his son Josh and Daniel and Daniel's new bride Heather, Wayne, Tracy, and Mitchell Starnes, Jerry Ward, Joe and Dawn Piccirillo brought both there Torinos, Greg Estep, Cary and Betty Grey, Gary and Ryan Travis, and Dennis Scudera. Junior and Lanna Thomas, and James and Lori Sipes were there but did not enter cars. Dennis Scudera  and Jerry Sellers both won top 25 awards.
June 14th, 2008 at the Boy Scouts Troop 603 car show in Statesville, NC, Jim Deuel took home a 2nd place trophy in the Domestic class and James & Lori Sipes took home a 1st place trophy in the 73 and newer class.

June 14th, 2008, at the Gate City Mustang Show in Burlington, NC, over 100 Mustangs showed up at Alamance Crossings. Frank DeFeo, Dave Goff, Woody Woodruff, James Clegg, Brett Smith and Carol Barker were some of the members of the FOAC and CRMC who were in attendance.  Frank took home a 2nd in his class, Dave took home a 1st in his class and Carol took home a 1st in her class – using MCA judging rules. On the way home, Carol and Woody noticed a pink Mustang on the side of the road with a Cobra, a GT and a Shelby pulled over with it. Yes, Dave had driven Allison’s pink Mustang to the show and it just stopped running on the side of the road. All the men put their heads together to try and figure out the problem. “I need some tools” James said. To everyone’s surprise the only one with tools was Carol. The Roush tool kit came to the rescue. Pretty soon Dave was back on the road and to our amazement left the “high performance” cars in his “pink” dust. The weather was beautiful and the show was great with all donations going to the Food Bank.
