Food Lion Show 2009

What started out as a drizzly morning turned into a nice day for a car show, as members of FOAC attended the first Food Lion Kids' Day and Car Show on Hwy. 29 in Concord. There were 13 cars and trucks attending, along with games, face painting, and other activities.

FOAC members there were Jerry Sellers, Wayne and Mitchell Starnes, Wayne Weaver, and Buster Moore, with Tracy & Cayla Starnes and a friend, and Vickie Moore coming by later for support. Two trophies were awarded at the end of the day, with the "Peoples' Choice" going to a 69 Dodge Super Bee owned by Herman Caudill, and "Best Of Show" going to Buster's 68 Mustang.
