We had 2 great days for Auto Fair, but rain Wednesday and Thursday caused mass confusion Saturday morning as the event officials decided Friday night that no clubs would be allowed on the grass however they didn't tell the clubs. Once things were settled and clubs knew where to park, FOAC had 35 cars show up Saturday morning. There were a few FOAC members making their first Auto Fair event. We also picked up some new members throughout the day.
Although it appeared that FOAC had drawn the short straw in the parking arrangements and were parked in what seemed like a ghost town Sunday; members still displayed their cars and made the best of the day. For the second straight day the weather was beautiful and the wind had died down making it more pleasant than Saturday. Five members traded places bringing the total number of members to 40 for this years event.
The winners were Harlan Hoover's 31 Model "A", Phil Boyles' 68 Mustang Fastback, Wayne Starnes' 65 Comet, Jerry Sellers' 66 Fairlane, Jim Norris' 71 T-Bird, Dawn Picirillo's 74 Gran Torino, Gary Nuss' 56 Mercury Montclair, and Best Of Show went to Rex Honeycutt's 70 Torino GT.
