FOAC member, Roush-Fenway driver of the UPS-We Love Logistics Ford and winner of the Sprint All-Star Showdown David Ragan and girlfriend Jacquelyn Butler attended the May meeting. David spoke to the members about his start in racing and afterwards posed for a few pictures and signed some autographs.

On Friday David held his 2nd annual fan appreciation day and invited members to bring some cars out to display. Thirty members brought their cars and spent the day with David. It started out a beautiful morning as David walked around and checked out some cars and met his fans. David held an autograph session and joing him at the table were H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler, David's brother Adam Ragan, Chris Buescher, "The Turtle Man" Ernie Brown Jr., "Tiger" Tom Pistone, and Robert Yates. Fan club and FOAC members enjoyed BBQ cooked by the Cabarrus Shrine Club.

With today's technology, somebody gave David a heads-up on the weatherand everyone with convertibles put their tops up, and everyone closed their vehicles before a downpour hit. Everyone hung out under the tents until the storm blew over.
